The Mattatuck Museum in downtown Waterbury, Connecticut hosted a reception on Friday, February 20th, to mark the opening of a Post University Faculty and Student Art Show. Pieces created by Post family members will remain on exhibit through April 19, 2015.
Showcasing a diverse collection of ceramics, drawings, and paintings, the exhibition features works by faculty members, John Rohlfing, Ginger Hanrahan, Brad Gilchrist, Sheri Schwartz, and Tracy Collamore, as well as student Rachel Draper.
According to art professor John Rohlfing, “This exhibit is a great opportunity to showcase the work of Post’s fine faculty and student artists. Our art program provides an opportunity for students to explore their creative energies, and partnering with the Mattatuck for a show of this type is great exposure and experience for those participating, and also a first for the University.”
