Program Highlights
The finance minor helps you build skills in analyzing, defining and arriving at viable solutions in financial decision making and planning. Your required finance classes include principles of finance and corporate finance, and you will choose any three of the following electives for a total of 15 credit hours:

  • Analysis of Financial Statements
  • Personal Financial Planning
  • Insurance and Risk Management
  • Investment Management
  • Business Valuations for Mergers and Acquisitions
  • International Finance

Upon completion of your finance courses, you may decide to pursue your finance degree, graduate education and professional study to become a Certified Financial Planner.
