Why do we behave the way we do? What motivates us? What makes us happy? If you’ve asked yourself difficult questions such as these, adding a Psychology Minor from Post University can help you search for the answers while also adding a valuable skillset to your major program of study. Minoring in psychology is ideal for preparing students for careers in the helping professions, such as counseling, social work or other related areas of public service.

Program Highlights

Our Psychology Minor explores the fundamental principles of psychology, but also allows for in-depth study of selected topics in upper-level courses, such as personality psychology, abnormal psychology, child psychology, and/or forensic psychology. For a total of 15 credit hours, you’ll customize your curriculum path in your Psychology Minor to complement your major as well as your overall professional aspirations.

Unlike other psychology programs, ours is flexible to fit your needs and schedule, with class options available at our Connecticut campus and online. From psychology fundamentals to a deeper exploration of the areas of psychology that interest you most, this Psychology Minor adds depth and breadth to your education and opens up new worlds of advancement opportunities.
