Advising

All students attending Post University receive academic advising.  The goal of the Academic Advising program, which is an integral part of the University’s academic support services, is to assist students to realize their academic potential. Our academic advising staff provides proactive coaching so students stay on track to succeed, reach their academic goals and graduate.

Academic advisors assist their advisees in selecting majors, scheduling courses, and interpreting and fulfilling academic policies and procedures. Our students benefit from individual attention and interaction with their academic advisors.

The Advising Center is located on the first floor of Hess Hall.

Prospective Students Needing Advice on Selecting a Program

To be considered for federal financial aid, students must be enrolled in an eligible degree program. Prospective students who are having difficulty selecting a major should work closely with the Academic Advising Office and Admissions to identify a major that meets the career needs and objectives of the student. There are resources available in the Office of Career Development to assist potential students to assess individual preferences and strengths and to explore career options.
