Waterbury, CT (June 1, 2021) – Post University has announced a transfer agreement partnership with Massachusetts’ North Shore Community College. The signed memorandum of understanding agreement will ease the transition for graduates to pursue bachelor’s degrees in Post’s equine, child studies, legal and psychology programs.

“At Post, we aim to develop meaningful partnerships with community colleges and are privileged to have this new partnership with North Shore Community College as we share a commitment to providing seamless opportunities for students who are looking to transfer between colleges,” said Virginia Folger, articulation agreement specialist at Post University. “Now more than ever, it is important to provide students with a clear direction for securing degrees for in-demand careers. We look forward to welcoming North Shore students into our Post University community.”

The transfer pathways cross four programs at Post:

North Shore Community College  Post University
AAS Veterinary Technology BS Equine Studies
AS Early Childhood Education BS Child Studies
AS Paralegal BS Legal Studies
AS Psychology BA Psychology

“In partnership with North Shore, students from the Danvers and Lynn campuses will be met where they are, ultimately preparing them for the state’s future workforce needs,” said Folger. “The team at Post University looks forward to a commitment to furthering the quality and accessibility of higher education.”

North Shore Community College students who choose to continue their education at Post University may be eligible to receive a reduction for entering the online Accelerated Degree Program (ADP) or may qualify for transfer scholarships to study at Post Campus.

With the addition of North Shore Community College, Post University now offers transfer programs with nearly 20 institutions across various states, including Texas, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Georgia, Arizona, and Washington.
