James Nardozzi Appointed Dean of Post College

James NardozziOn January 24, Post University announced the appointment of James Nardozzi, D.P.A., as Dean of Post College. Nardozzi, a former Waterbury Deputy Chief of Police, has led Post College as Acting Dean since March 2011, and will continue to serve as Director of the Master of Public Administration program.

Debbie Mallick has joined Career Services as Associate Director. Debbie has an impressive background with a Master of Education in School Guidance, certified resume writer of over 600 resumes, and career services experience at New Horizons. As a certified Competent Communicator with Toastmasters she will also help us establish a Toastmaster chapter on campus for students, faculty, and staff.

United Way to Honor Dick Dumont

The United Way of Greater Waterbury has selected Dick Dumont, Academic Program Manager for the University’s Accounting Degree Program, as the recipient of the 2011-2012 Frederic and Lucy Kellogg Award. This award is presented annually to an individual or institution exemplifying the Kellogg’s sense of community responsibility and social awareness, and who embodies United Way’s vision of a caring community. Dick will be publically recognized at the 26th Annual Community Leaders Dinner on April 5.

Post University has issued a call for proposals for its Online Learning Conference: “Shaping the Future,” to be held April 20, 2012 at the Mattatuck Museum in Waterbury, Conn. Now in its second year, the conference provides an opportunity for higher education faculty and staff to share the best of online learning advancements, research, and strategies.

Post University, which is ranked in the 2011 U.S. News Best Colleges edition, is also listed in a top 10 list of schools with the most students older than 25.
