Campus Safety & Security
The office of Campus Safety and Security at Post University is established for the safety and protection of our students, faculty and staff. We are located on the first floor of West Hall within the office of Residence Life.
Our office focuses on issues related to the safety of the University community and works closely with all campus departments and various student groups. Students who have any safety-related concerns are encouraged to meet with the Director of Campus Safety and Security.
The presence of any unusual or questionable individuals or occurrences should be reported at once to the Campus Safety and Security.
We encourage students to take advantage of the crime prevention programs being offered by the Campus Safety and Security Office.
An important safety feature is Photo Identification Cards (ID), obtained from the Campus Safety and Security office. Students must carry the ID card at all times and produce it when requested by authorized campus officials. IDs must be presented to enter and use many University facilities and services. (Lost ID card must be reported and will be replaced at a small fee.)
Your safety is number one. And for this reason, Campus Safety is here for you 24/7. Do not hesitate to call or stop by if you have any questions. The Director of Campus Safety's Office hours are Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Patrol Officers are available to assist students 24 hours a day 7 days a week at 203-596-4502.
Also, students who wish to appeal parking tickets may contact the Director.

Uniform Crime Reports
In accordance with the State of Connecticut Campus Safety Act of 1990, Post annually participates in the Connecticut Uniform Crime Report (UCR) program.
We utilize the Uniform Crime Reporting methodology. The Safety and Security Office maintains annual statistics, broken down by semesters, on campus crime. The crime rate is derived from dividing the number of reported incidents by the total number of students, faculty and staff. Our continuing goal, and our commitment to you, is to eliminate crimes on campus. Consequently we have a remarkably safe and secure campus with a very low crime rate and will continue to keep our campus safe.
