New Year’s Eve Fireworks 2025

Post University regrets to announce the cancellation of the fireworks display scheduled for Wednesday, December 31, at 6:30 p.m.

Due to the recent winter storm that produced nearly one foot of snowfall, conditions at the launch site atop Holy Land USA remain unsafe.

Public safety remains the top priority for both the City of Waterbury and Post University. After careful evaluation of the site conditions and consultation with fireworks professionals, the decision was made to cancel the event.

The City of Waterbury and Post University appreciate the public’s understanding and regret any disappointment this cancellation may cause. Residents are encouraged to continue to monitor official City and Post University communications for future event announcements.
