PMP/CAPM Exam Preparation Course

Post-University courses are current and aligned to the latest PMI Global Standards.

The PMP Examination Preparation course uses PMI’s authorized course materials, instructor-led presentation, and in-class exercises to provide students with a working knowledge of project management models, methods, and artifacts and their application. Post University instructors are all certified PMPs with decades of project management practices and bring examples of the real- world to help illustrate complex concepts. The course addresses all project performance domains and underlying delivery principles contained in the current versions of PMI’s Examination Content Outline, PMI’s Authorized PMP Exam Preparation Course Materials, “A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide),” and associated American National Standards Institute (ANSI) standards. Our PMP boot camp upon completion fulfills the PMI-required 35 contact hours of project management training.

PMP Prep Course (online facilitated)

Course Fees: $995 per person
The PMP/CAPM online sessions are held Tuesday through Thursday and start at 8:00 AM and end at 5:00 PM. The student must complete the sessions and complete the simulated 600 tests to earn the 35 PDUs.

Course Topics
  • All online sessions start at 8 am and end at 5 pm. (Eastern Standard Time)
  • (4) Total class sessions
  • Eligible for 35 PDU’s upon completion of the course.
  • Total number of class hours = 35 (total hours includes class time sessions and simulations)

Student Pre-requisite Knowledge, Skills, Experience

(Prior to taking the exam and after completing the prep course)

CAPM:

  • A secondary degree (high school diploma, associate’s degree or the global equivalent)
  • 1,500 hours of project experience or 23 hours of project management education completed by the time you sit for the exam (completion of this course fulfills the required number of hours needed in order to take the exam)

PMP:

  • A secondary degree (high school diploma, associate’s degree or the global equivalent)
  • 7,500 hours leading and directing projects
  • 35 hours of project management education (completion of this course fulfills the required number of hours needed in order to take the exam)

-OR-

  • Four-year degree
  • 4,500 hours leading and directing projects
  • 35 hours of project management education
Course Learning Objectives
  • Demonstrate an ability to apply inputs, tools & techniques and outputs of the 47 project management processes tested in the PMP/CAPM exam
  • Demonstrate the applied use of the traditional PMBOK Process Groups and Knowledge Areas with artifacts in the initiating, planning, executing, controlling & monitoring and closing groups that are tested in the PMP/CAPM exam
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the PMP/CAPM exam requirements
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the PMI policies and procedures required to fulfill the professional responsibility that is tested in the PMP/CAPM exam
