Leveraging PMI authorized course materials and employing a dynamic blend of instructor-led presentations and immersive in-class exercises, this PMP/CAPM exam prep course offers the knowledge and skills students could use to pursue opportunities in the world of professional project management. It is designed to provide an understanding of project management models, methodologies, and essential artifacts as well as with practical application.

Drawing upon PMI Authorized PMP Exam Preparation Course Materials, “A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide),” and the pertinent American National Standards Institute (ANSI) standards, it covers project performance domains and the foundational delivery principles outlined in the latest PMI Examination Content Outline. Plus, our cadre of project management instructors have themselves passed the PMP certification exam and hold the PMP certification. Their professional experiences help enrich the learning experience by providing real-world examples that serve to illuminate complex concepts.

Upon successfully completing our CAPM and PMP exam prep course, participants will have had the opportunity to gain invaluable knowledge and fulfill the mandatory 35 contact hours of project management training stipulated by PMI. This comprehensive training helps students prepare for PMP exam questions and a future in the realm of project .

Note: Post University does not guarantee CAPM or PMP certification, and there are requirements for such certification outside of education. It is ultimately the responsibility of individual students to manage their own certification process and to ensure that all requirements are met in obtaining certification. CAPM & PMP Exam Prep Course Details

Course Fee: $995 per person.

Live Online Sessions: Live sessions for our CAPM/PMP exam prep courses are held online Tuesday through Friday, starting at 8:00 am and ending at 5:00 pm. Students must complete the sessions and the simulated 600 tests to earn the 35 PDUs.

Four (4) class sessions. All online sessions start at 8 am and end at 5 pm (EST).

  • Lesson 6: Preparing for the PMP Exam

35 PDUs are available to students who complete the course.

Between sessions and simulations, this course totals 35 class hours.

Student Pre-Requisite Knowledge, Skills, Experience

After completing our CAPM and PMP prep class but prior to taking the relevant exam:

CAPM:

  • Secondary degree — high school diploma, associate degree, or global equivalent
  • 1,500 hours of project experience or 23 hours of project management education — completing this course fulfills total hours requirement for the test

PMP:

  • Secondary degree — high school diploma, associate degree, or global equivalent
  • 7,500 hours leading and directing projects
  • 35 hours of project management education — completing this course fulfills total hours requirement for the test

Course Learning Objectives

Our PMP/CAPM prep course overs CAPM and PMP exam questions to give graduates the opportunity to develop the tools needed to demonstrate an:

  • Ability to apply inputs, tools, techniques, and outputs of the 47 project management processes tested in the PMP/CAPM exam
  • Applied use of the traditional PMBOK Process Groups and Knowledge Areas with artifacts in the initiating, planning, executing, controlling and monitoring, and closing groups that are tested in the PMP/CAPM exam
  • Understanding of the PMP/CAPM exam requirements
  • An understanding of PMI policies and procedures required to fulfill the professional responsibility tested in the PMP/CAPM exam

There are 180 questions on the PMP exam. It includes multiple choice, matching, fill-in-the-blank, and other types of questions.
