Professional Background

Dennis Sciarrino recently completed a 34 year career with United Technologies Corporation where he was Director of Training for Sikorsky Aircraft. Mr. Sciarrino was responsible for both domestic and international customer training programs with respect to development and conduct of those programs. One of his most highly regarded support activities focused on The Presidential Helicopter Squadron based in Quantico, VA. All Presidential Pilots and support personnel were matured through his training programs.

Teaching Philosophy

Professor Sciarrino uses a “real-world” approach in his teaching philosophy. That is, while the text will supply a detailed theory based approach to a given subject, there are practical applications that can be used to build upon these materials. Thus, combining both the theory and actual applications from the current business environment, students gain a full understanding of not only the subject materials but in how to apply them in the work environment.
