The philosophy minor from Post University encourages and helps you think critically, reasonably and carefully — a skill that’s relevant to any degree and highly valued by employers in all industries. This program could also be your first step toward an advanced degree in philosophy or other area.

Program Highlights
The philosophy minor offers you the opportunity to articulate your own ideas, deepen your self-awareness, develop a humane attitude and envision alternative ways of looking at things personally, professionally and as a member of the global community. Your required philosophy courses include introduction to philosophy, ethics and world religions, and you will choose any two of the following electives for a total of 15 credit hours:

  • Eastern Philosophy
  • Political Philosophy
  • Understanding Our Universe

Each philosophy class is led by an experienced faculty members. They will help you open your mind about complex topics and learn how to apply your knowledge to your career.
