Your Creative Outlet for a Creative Career
Pablo Picasso said, “Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up.” Post University has the solution. Our art minor allows you to freely express and explore your artistic abilities and can help prepare you for positions in museums and galleries, art studios, advertising agencies, and more. Even if you don’t pursue a creative career, many other fields benefit from professionals with an eye for aesthetics.
Our art minor was designed to complement the knowledge you will gain in your major degree program. Through a balance of art theory and practice, you will gain an understanding of visual art processes, media, and skills. For a total of 15 credit hours, your art classes include:
- Art History I OR Art History II
- Drawing I
- Three open electives (nine credit hours)
Your required courses are taught at our Connecticut campus by experienced faculty to give you hands-on, personal assistance with your projects.
