Experiment with a Biology Minor
Whether discussing a diagnosis from a doctor, investing in a biotechnology firm or debating science policies, the biological sciences impact everyone’s lives. By adding a minor in biology to your degree program at Post University, you can become a more informed citizen and tailor your career toward industries in the biological and health care fields.
Through lectures and hands-on labs at our Connecticut campus, the minor in biology gives you a solid foundation in the essential concepts of biological sciences and the process of scientific investigation. For a total of 15 credit hours, your biology courses include:
- General Biology I and General Biology I Lab
- General Biology II and General Biology II Lab
- Two electives at the 200–400 level
- One elective lab at the 200–400 level
We keep each biology class and lab small to encourage in-depth discussions and collaborative problem-solving. This, combined with one-on-one guidance from our experienced faculty and staff, ensures you don’t get lost in the crowd.
