As an English minor student, you will be exposed to all elements of writing, including literature and poetry, and discover meaning in a variety of works, genres, and creative writing courses. Each English class in our program equips you with practical skills in communication, analysis, and social interaction:
- Literature and Composition
- Two electives at the 200 level
- One elective at the 300 level
- One elective at the 300 or 400 level
Each English course is three credit hours and led by our experienced faculty, who bring real-world insights into the classroom. Internships are not required, but you may choose to pursue opportunities in the journalism, media, blogging or technical writing fields.
