Program Highlights 

The Human Services Minor exposes you to the skills needed to be a successful helping professional. Topics addressed in the minor include human services principles, interviewing techniques, human behavior, diversity, intervention skills, and counseling theories. Students have the opportunity to customize this 15-credit-hour minor to complement their educational and career goals with the choice of electives for human services classes. Each course is taught by our expert faculty, who have years of professional experience in the field to support, and help you grow in your studies. Your Human Services Minor also offers an opportunity for a practicum, where you can learn experientially in a local community agency environment 

 

What Can You Do with a Minor in Human Services? 

Upon completion of this Human Services Minor, depending on your major, you’ll have honed skills and abilities for career opportunities where helping others is job number one.
