High School Counselors

Post University makes the admissions process seamless!

Welcome

You care for your students. You became a high school counselor because you wanted to make a difference in their lives and futures. So do we. You get to know them personally because they are more than just a name or number to you. So do we. You explore multiple options to help them reach their goals while treating them like individuals. So do we.

Post Makes It Personal®

From day one, we are focused on providing the academics and personalized support students could use to succeed in class and in the world. That starts by offering the resources of a much larger institution with the personalized attention of a small New England university, including smaller class sizes and more faculty mentoring opportunities. And that is not all:

  • Our Center for Academic Success offers a host of academic support services.
  • Our health and wellness programs support them physically, emotionally, and mentally.
  • Our career services help them explore career opportunities from the very beginning.
  • Our programs are in fields students value, from human services to esports.
  • Our student-led clubs are progressive in nature and productive in purpose.
  • Our NCAA DII athletes excel in community service and in education — with the collective GPA over 3.5!

You are vital to a successful transition into a future-focused college experience for your students. Let the high school counselor resources on this page help you guide students toward even brighter futures.

Post is here to help.

“You know the saying, Post Makes It Personal®? I genuinely feel like it’s true. I felt that sense of home.”

Taina Pagan, BSBA

“When I came to tour Post, I knew it was for me. I had toured other big schools and it just was overwhelming. So to come onto Post’s campus, it was intimate. People came up to me, asked who I was, and then remembered who I was.”

Kathleen Takita, BA in Psychology

High School Academy

Give your students the opportunity to earn undergraduate credit while still in high school with the Post University High School Academy (HSA). Through HSA, you help students explore new subject areas, experience university-level learning opportunities, earn college credit, and gain a head start on their college career. Your students could:

  • Explore several majors — from education to business to legal studies
  • Join like-minded, future-focused peers in a collegiate environment
  • Save money and time at $300 per course — a 90% reduction on tuition

Plus, because they will be Post students, they will enjoy all the privileges our online and campus-based students typically experience, including student IDs, 24/7 tutoring, campus events, and personalized academic advising!

“I took advantage of the Post High School Academy via my high school … I thought this was an excellent opportunity to not only get a head start on college but also a way to explore different types of courses that might pique my interest.”
