Post University students come from diverse backgrounds and secondary school programs. We encourage applications from students of all ethnic, religious, racial, economic and geographic backgrounds who are interested in pursuing academic studies. Criteria for admission are objective as well as subjective. The applicant's academic experience, standardized test scores, personal qualities, and individual characteristics are considered. The Admissions Committee makes a decision with respect to a candidate's admission to the University on a rolling basis as soon as the candidate's file is complete.

All undergraduate applicants for admission (e.g., freshman, transfer, Military, international) may submit an application in one of two ways:

  • Complete and submit an application online. The application fee is waived if you apply online.

  • Obtain an application by contacting the Office of Admissions, then complete and return the application, along with a $40 non-refundable application fee, and other required materials to the address below.

Along with submitting your application, you will need to submit your:

  • Official High School Transcript

  • Official SAT or ACT

  • At least One Academic Recommendation letter

  • For paper applications, a $40 Application fee (non-refundable)

  • Have an official copy of your high school transcript forwarded to the Office of Admissions by either:

    • Requesting your high school to submit your official transcript to the Office of Admissions or send them through Naviance Software if your high school has this software, or

    • Download the Transcript Request Form to authorize Post University’s Office of Admissions to request your transcripts from your high school.

    • The transcript must indicate that you have satisfactorily completed your high school’s graduation requirements. If you have not yet completed your high school’s graduation requirements, the transcript must also include a list of courses being taken in the current semester. Upon completion of your high school graduation requirements, you must provide a final official high school transcript that includes the date of graduation.

  • Have the results of the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) or American College Test (ACT) forwarded to the Office of Admissions. Our school code for the SAT is 3698, and the school code for the ACT is 0580.

  • Submission of an Academic letter of recommendation is required to review your application for admission to Post and to review your qualifications for the Honors Program. The letter should be from your guidance counselor or a teacher you have taken class with.

Visit our campus and meet with an Undergraduate Admissions Counselor in person, or schedule a phone interview if a visit is not possible. The recommendation of an Undergraduate Admissions Counselor is necessary in order to gain final acceptance to the University. If you have received a General Equivalency Diploma (GED), you must provide copies of the GED test results along with an official copy of course work completed at the high school level.
