About Me: I began my journey at Post in the summer of 2014 as an admissions counselor in the online department. In my time here, like so many of our students, I have come to know the joys of having an entire team of truly supportive, caring and wonderful individuals who are all dedicated to a single mission – helping others to grow on their journey. I spend most of my time at work because I absolutely love what I get to do everyday but when I am not here you can generally find me playing with my dog Ollie, painting or spending time with my family.

Advice: Remember that you are not alone. College can be this heady mix of excitement and terror because you will experience so many new things. Whether you are a student or guardian your time here will likely be filled with moments of great stress and even greater pride and it is important to share those moments with the people supporting you. When you are struggling or when you have overcome an obstacle, make sure you reach out to your advisor and share what you are going through. It is hard to find people who will fight harder for your success or celebrate louder when you achieve something than us!

About Me: I support our international students, the entire time they are on their student visa. I’ve been married a “few years” and have one daughter, who was born in China. I believe if this world to be a better place, we all need to be global citizens. That means being aware of and developing appreciation for cultures outside the US, as well as growing our knowledge of how our actions affect other global citizens, beyond our country’s borders. Our international students are crucial in this way, to the quality of education of all the students on our campus. That reality is what gets me out of bed each morning! (Plus, our international students are a lot of fun to get to know!)

Advice: You can’t evaluate all the “Pros & Cons” of every university in the US, which you might have the opportunity to attend. Start with how the place FEELS to you. Then list the advantages and disadvantages of your top 3 (or 5 at the most). Then, go back to how the place makes you feel. That will probably be similar to the majority of your experience on campus.

Don’t get all caught up in worrying about the visa process. Let us walk you through it. Control what you can and let go of the rest.
