Assistant Clinical Coordinator MSN NP (American Sentinel)

American Sentinel University at Post University is seeking an Assistant Clinical Coordinator MSN NP (full time-remote) to join our team.

The Assistant Clinical Coordinator is responsible for assisting the NP Clinical Coordinator in day-to-day tasks related to the clinical portion of the Nurse Practitioner specializations in the Master of Nursing degree. The Assistant NP Clinical Coordinator reports to the NP Clinical Coordinator and Assistant Dean. This is a full-time position at American Sentinel College of Nursing and Health Sciences.  


  • Assist in the management of the NP Clinical Coordinator Inbox.  
  • Assist with the grading of required NP clinical documents in the LMS.  
  • Communication and assistance to students with clinical questions according to the Clinical Guidelines.  
  • Assist with scheduling webinars and presentations by clinical faculty and the NP clinical coordinator.  
  • Organization of tracking documents for clinical placement, exceptions, and student information each term.  
  • Uploading students into Typhon and assistance for accuracy of the information in Typhon regarding preceptors.  
  • Assist with Communication with Preceptors regarding log -in to Typhon and issues completing students’ evaluations.  
  • Sending Authorization to test for the 3 P exam to students. 
  • Posting routine announcements in the courses for the NP Clinical Coordinator as delegated.  
  • Assistance with management of the preceptor bank and student assistance with securing preceptors for clinical experience.  
  • Other duties as assigned.  


 A Master of Science in Nursing Degree is required; an APRN or doctoral degree in nursing or related field from an accredited college or university is preferred. Clinical nursing experience, experience in an online environment, and experience in an administrative assistant role in an academic setting is desired.
