Post University is currently accepting applications for the role of online Associate Faculty-English.
Candidates for the position of Associate Faculty (adjunct instructor position) in English would join a strong team of dedicated professionals at Post University. The Associate Faculty would be required to:
Teach 8 week courses online using Blackboard.
Facilitate online discussion using interactive media as well as promote critical thinking.
Grade assignments with substantial feedback weekly and answer student emails within 24 hours.
Maintain an active presence in the online classroom on multiple days throughout the week, including on the weekend; positive and professional online demeanor required.
Be proficient in APA style, Blackboard, and other computer programs.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
PhD in English or MFA in Writing preferred. M.A. in English or Education required.
Must have online teaching experience with introductory level writing/ENG courses using Blackboard or a similar platform
Ability to meet departmental standards as well as be open to feedback.
Ability to use Blackboard as well as complete all required trainings.
