Post University Blog

At Post University, we love to recognize the accomplishments of our students, in and out of the classroom.  We understand how dedicated so many of you are to your studies, and the time and effort you put in to achieve excellence.  We also know that, for many of you, your busy lives require you to attend college on a part time basis.  You have families and jobs – priorities that are as important as earning your degree.  We’ve heard from many of you through personal conversations and posts on social media that you would like to see Post University offer more recognition for the high academic achievements of part time students.

I am excited to share that Post University has established a new academic recognition, the Provost’s List!  Part time students who make the Provost’s List will be celebrated for their academic accomplishments right alongside full-time students who are honored on the President’s List and the Dean’s List.  The Provost’s list recognizes degree-seeking students who earn at least a 3.50 GPA while completing between 6 and 11 credits in one semester or two terms.  More information on term honors eligibility requirements, including the Provost’s List, can be found in the University’s catalog: http://post.edu/catalog.

Our first Provost’s List will be published based on the recently completed 2021 summer terms.  On behalf of the Assistant Provost, Deans, and faculty, my warmest congratulations to all our students named to the President’s List, Dean’s List, and now Provost’s List.  We couldn’t be prouder of your academic achievements!
