Dear Post University Community:

We would like to take this opportunity to update the community on the evolving situation related to the 2019 Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV). Post University has established an emergency preparedness team comprised of leaders from across our campus, who are in consultation with outside experts, to evaluate the epidemic as it relates to our campus communities.

At this time, based on information from the Center for Disease Control and the State of CT Department of Public Health, Post is strongly recommending and encouraging our students, faculty and staff to be prudent in their travel choices – now – and during the upcoming spring break.  As many of you know, this epidemic, which is affecting travel across Asia, Europe, and other parts of the world is evolving. As countries are evaluating travel into – and out of – their regions, limitations and bans are being put into effect, often with little or no prior warning. Please consider both your departure and your return when travelling to countries currently under watch for Coronavirus.

Post University has no confirmed cases of the 2019 Novel Coronavirus at this time and we have no one under investigation. We do, however, have processes and protocols in place if this were to change.

Below are links to organizations that are providing regular updates on this evolving situation.

We strongly recommend you use this information in evaluating your travel plans:

Post University will continue to provide updates to you as information becomes available.
