Each month, the Center for Career and Professional Development spotlights interns from each of our three schools to learn more about their experiences and the practical skills they’ve developed in the ‘real world.’
The Malcolm Baldrige School of Business
Griffin Maguire ’22 | Marketing | Sport Management
Signature Brand Factory
“This internship has helped me expand my skills in programs such as Photoshop and Hootsuite as well as have a better understanding of how all parts of an agency, even small, work together to get tasks done in a timely manner. “
School of Arts & Sciences
Briana Wilky ‘21 | Biology | Pre-Health
Advocare Summit Pediatrics
“During my time at the pediatrics office, I learned a lot about myself and the career path as a physician or medical assistant in pediatrics. This experience affirmed that I want to work in the medical field, albeit in a different specialty. I enjoyed coming to a place where I can do good and help those in need. However, I did not see a medical future that involved children. I’ve always been interested in forensic science and medicine, so I want to pursue a career path that caters to that and potentially find a career where I am happy with what I am doing.”
The John P. Burke School of Public Service & Education
Andrew Raybon ’21 | Human Services | Psychology
Peace360 Initiative
“I was certainly challenged throughout and still during this experience. It consistently motivates me to step out of my comfort zone in service of others
