With a perfect 4.0 GPA, she stands as a shining example of what it means to be a member of our University community.
Selected by a faculty committee for her outstanding achievements, she impressed them not only with her academic record and dedication to the Honors Program, but also through her meaningful volunteer work with Jude’s Children’s Hospital and her strong advocacy for the peer-to-peer online support group for academic assistance and community connection. Her positive, encouraging, and supportive energy stands out to the peers, faculty, and the broader Post community.
As she prepares for the next chapter of her journey, she’s taken a moment to reflect on her experience and offer words of inspiration to the graduating class of 2025.

What are you considering writing about for your speech?
I’m writing about the transformative power of opportunities and community, as exemplified by my journey in the Honors Program. Being an Honors Ambassador and actively participating in honors events taught me the value of striving for excellence while giving back. I’ll emphasize how stepping into opportunities that scare us the most often leads to the most rewarding experiences—whether taking on leadership roles, tackling tough challenges, or pursuing dreams that seem daunting.
What are some of your most memorable highlights from your experience at Post?
Some of my most cherished memories include my time in the Honors Program and its variety of enriching experiences. Participating in honors events, attending business dinners, and being part of book clubs helped broaden my horizons and strengthen my connections with others. Representing the program as an Honors Ambassador and serving on the Online Student Advisory Board were especially meaningful, as they allowed me to contribute to the community that has given me so much.
Who has had the biggest impact on your life during your college career? In your life?
During my college career, many wonderful friends I made at Post have had the biggest impact on my life. Their camaraderie, support, and shared experiences have inspired and strengthened me throughout my journey. Additionally, the Honors Team’s encouragement and belief in my potential inspired me to embrace challenges and strive for excellence. Outside of college, my mom and grandparents have been my strongest pillars of support. Their love, wisdom, and unwavering encouragement have motivated me to confidently pursue my goals.
What advice would you give to current or future students?
My advice would be to embrace every opportunity—even the ones that seem daunting or scare you. These moments often turn out to be the most rewarding and shape you in unimaginable ways. Remember, success isn’t just about achievements; it’s about the person you become along the way—the resilience, compassion, and confidence you develop. Join programs, participate in events, and build relationships that challenge and inspire you because those experiences will leave the most lasting impact.
What’s next?
I will be pursuing a Master’s in Public Administration at Post University. Continuing my journey here feels like a natural progression, as I’ll carry forward the lessons I’ve learned and the connections I’ve built. This next chapter excites me as an opportunity to grow further and make a meaningful impact in the world, building on the foundation Post has given me.
