Post University Blog

We are proud to turn the University blog over to our 2025 Main Campus Valedictorian. Selected by the faculty committee for her exceptional academic achievement and remarkable dedication, she has maintained an impeccable 4.0 GPA while earning her Bachelor’s degree in just three years.

Beyond the classroom, she has been an active and inspiring presence on campus—serving as secretary of the Law Club, contributing to the Honors Program, and participating in the National Future Farmers of America organization. Her work ethic, leadership, and genuine kindness have left a lasting mark on the Post community.

As she prepares to begin her next chapter at Quinnipiac University School of Law this fall, she has taken a moment to reflect on her journey and share some heartfelt words with the graduating class of 2025.

What are you considering writing about for your speech?

I am planning to write my speech about the people who have supported me throughout my journey. Without them, none of this would have been possible!

What are some of your most memorable highlights from your experience at Post?

One of my most memorable moments from Post was attending a trial with my civil litigation class at the Waterbury courthouse. A life-changing experience that only strengthened my passion for law and solidified my dream of attending law school. I also really enjoyed attending Post’s various seminars, including a domestic violence awareness presentation and a lecture from Detective Matt Reilly, which offered me a unique outlook on the law. Last, some of my most memorable moments have been in my law classes. With the classes being smaller and personal, I had the opportunity to make close connections with every one of my classmates.

Who has had the biggest impact on your life during your college career? In your life?

The person who has had the biggest impact on my college career and life is my mother. She has been my biggest inspiration and best friend since childhood, setting an excellent example of perseverance, kindness, and integrity. Sadly, she passed away two years ago. Learning to live without her has been a huge battle, but I know she would be proud of all my accomplishments. My friends and family- especially my father and grandparents- as well as my significant other, have also played a huge role in shaping the person I am today.

What advice would you give to current or future students?

I have three pieces of advice that I would share with future students. First, give yourself some grace. You are going to face challenges along the way, and it is okay to take time to prioritize your mental health and happiness. Second, make the most out of every class. Whether related to your degree or not, each class has value and will contribute to your well-roundedness. Last, make connections with your fellow students and professors. These people will make your education unforgettable!

What’s next?

After graduation, I will be heading straight to law school! I will be attending Quinnipiac School of Law as a full-time student, one of the essential steps that will allow me to pursue my dreams of becoming a probate and estate attorney. Before things get too crazy, though, I want to take advantage of my free time this summer and indulge in my hobbies, particularly working on perfecting my cars, which is a huge passion of mine.
