COSE: A Beacon of Change
Contribute by Online student Teresa Moreno, Advocate, Council for Online Student Experience (C.O.S.E.) President, Online Emergency Management and Homeland Security Club (ADP EMH Club) President, Club Support Team (CST)
COSE is built by students who have endured the hardships created by an environment where hierarchy and titles overshadow the true purpose of the organization—advocating for students- and as a result, we are stronger, more effective, and more efficient in our advocacy.
The individuals within this council share a common and unwavering goal: to enhance student experience and strengthen the university community. I have found COSE to be a welcoming and collaborative space, one where every voice is heard, and every effort is made with integrity. We understand firsthand the importance of transparency, fairness, and genuine service to our peers. We are here to amplify the voices that may otherwise go unheard, to foster a sense of inclusion, and to create positive change within Post University.
For me, helping others is not just an act—it is a calling. Witnessing the success and prosperity of my fellow students brings me immense joy. It confirms that I am fulfilling my purpose, and through COSE, will continue striving to provide that same sense of belonging to all who join, lead, or engage in our mission.
COSE is not just a council; it is a movement—one that ensures every student is valued, heard, and empowered.
Weekly Wellness Corner
The Weekly Wellness Corner is brought to you by Mental Health and Wellness Services – here, you’ll find content, tips, tricks, programs, and resources to help you thrive as a Post Eagle!
For this week’s Wellness Corner, we will be talking about Flow State vs. Stuck Cycle. Flow State is where you feel completely immersed in something. You are finding your rhythm and focused on your personal growth- even when you run into challenges along the way. Being stuck happens when you feel disconnected, overwhelmed, or uncertain. Your energy feels drained, and the daily task and or thinking feels frustrating or impossible. You might overthink or procrastinate, and it’s hard to make progress. Finding your flow also means trusting in your abilities and having confidence that no matter what, you will attract all the right things and let go of anything that doesn’t serve you.
