Start Off Strong – Avoid Procrastination
What is Procrastination? Procrastination is a delay in taking action on something that needs to be done. This often results in waiting until the last moment to complete the task, thus being rushed. Unfortunately, procrastination is prevalent in all aspects of life, from staying on top of everyday household chores to keeping up with schoolwork.
If you’ve been struggling with procrastination in college or work, try implementing some of the following:
- Not feeling motivated? Remember your why!
- Optimize your study environment
- Reduce (or, ideally eliminate) distractions
- Take breaks to avoid burnout
