The summer months go by pretty quickly! Here are some ideas to make the most of this time:
- Enjoy the outdoors: The warmer summer months are a great time to get outside. Some low-cost outdoor activities include:
- Swimming at the beach or community pool
- Taking a bike ride
- Taking a walk in a nearby nature preserve or botanical garden
- Sitting under a tree reading a book
- Do something you have always wanted to try: Have you ever wanted to go rock climbing or mayber Frisbee golf? There is no better season to do extreme activities like these than the summer. Search for locations near you where these games and activities take place, and give one a try.
- Check out a local park, fair or festival: Summer is the season for roller coasters, cotton candy and music festivals. There is bound to be at least one in your area, so get some of your friends together and check it out.
