Upcoming Change: StraighterLine (Post Academy) Access Ending Soon

Dear Students,

We want to let you know about an important update that may impact your coursework. The StraighterLine service, also known as Post Academy, will no longer be available after September 15, 2025.

If you are enrolled in a StraighterLine course, or plan to take one, please make sure to complete it by September 15. The last date for a new enrollment is July 15. After September 15, you will no longer have access to courses on that platform.

If you are required to complete general education courses or were advised to enroll in a StraighterLine course, you are strongly encouraged to meet with your academic advisor or program chair. They can help you find the best path forward and ensure that you stay on track with your academic goals.

Thank you for your attention to this change. If you have any questions, or need help planning your next step, please do not hesitate to reach out to your advisor at 203.568.1652. We are here to support you.

Sincerely,

Dr. Sandra D. Wilson, JD

Assistant Provost for Teaching & Learning

The Learning Mindset

As the University continues its celebration of 25 years of offering fully online degree and certificate programs, we asked some of our current online students to share how their views of learning have changed and evolved since beginning their online studies.  Learning online does come with its own unique challenges, but it is also an opportunity to grow; a chance to look at learning from a new viewpoint.  Here’s what some of our Eagles had to share.

I didn’t think I was capable of going to college as a high schooler. I had terribly bad grades and was more into cheerleader. Taking these online classes has given me confidence, time management, a better speaker, and a better writer, and I am proud of myself as the great grades make me want to do more.

Taking classes online has helped me gain better time management skills and taking classes online is also really helpful for me it’s my preferred way of learning.

My mindset has changed since I started Post University. I learned so much and how to manage time trying to do as much as possible each day.

Pride Month: LGBTQIA+ Library Resources

As we continue to mark Pride Month in June, the team in the Traurig Library has compiled many resources related to the LGBTQIA+ community.  These resources include books that are available through the Traurig Library electronic databases, as well as reading lists compiled by other organizations and supporters.  Tap the Learn More button below to explore all of the LGBTQIA+ resources the team in the library has put together.
