National Women’s History Month: Celebrating Women Who Have Inspired and Educated Generations!

This year, the National Women’s History Alliance chose “Moving Forward Together: Women Educating & Inspiring Generations” as the theme for National Women’s History Month.  According to the organization, “Education has always been a powerful catalyst for change, and women have been at the forefront, driving this transformation. From classrooms to boardrooms, and from grassroots movements to global initiatives, women educators and leaders have played a pivotal role in nurturing minds and inspiring action.”

Inspired by her mother, Main Campus student Alexa Philippi has always had the drive and determination to achieve more.  “My mom, Margaret Philippi, has inspired me in life.  From a young age, she taught me to always find the positive aspects of situations and to stay true to myself.  It is because of strong, bright, and unique women like my mother that I have become the compassionate and resilient woman that I am today,” Philippi shared.
