Online Students: Term 6 2023 Begins Monday, May 1

Start strong this term!  Here are some important tips and reminders as you get started this semester and term:

  • Check your schedule on the Student Portal.  Visit http://post.edu and click on the Student Login link in the upper right corner.  Once you are logged in, under “Academics” select “Schedule.”  There’ll you’ll find the courses you are scheduled for, and our main campus students will see when their class sessions will be held and where their classes are located.  Remember to participate in your discussion boards as soon as possible.
  • Check your Post email – at least once a day: The University will be sending important information and updates and your Post University student email address is the official way we will communicate with you.
  • Don’t forget about the support provided by the Post University Center for Academic Success and TutorMe! Both are excellent resources to connect with a peer educator or professional coach/specialist for assistance with challenging course material. They can work with you one-on-one on strategies for personal and academic success. Access TutorMe through the link in your course menu and contact the Center for Academic Success team at [email protected] or schedule an appointment online: http://postcas.acuityscheduling.com.
  • If you need anything, your advising team is here to help!  Contact your student success advisor at 203.568.1652.

Have an awesome term!

iFeliz Cinco de Mayo! Contrary to belief, this holiday is not a celebration of Mexico’s independence. Friday, May 5, 2023, will commemorate the 161st anniversary of the Battle of Puebla, Mexico. This clash became famous in history books because Texas-born General Ignacio Zaragoza led only 2,000 common folk men against 6,000 French forces and stood victorious in the end. Since then, Cinco de Mayo has become a day of celebration of Hispanic heritage with parades, festivals, and yummy food in Mexico and the U.S. Read more: https://www.history.com/topics/holidays/cinco-de-mayo
Speaking of Cinco de Mayo, did you know about a club at Post called Los Latinos? They do everything from experiencing Hispanic culture to having special guests like the Orange is the New Black star, Diane Guerrero. If you love learning new facts about other cultures or even having fun in general, join their meetings every other Thursday at 4pm EST by following these directions: Virtual Clubhouse -> “Explore Diversity and Social Issues” -> “Los Latinos Club” -> Join Meeting.
