Weekly Wellness Corner

The Weekly Wellness Corner is brought to you by Mental Health and Wellness Services – here, you’ll find content, tips, tricks, programs, and resources to help you thrive as a Post Eagle!
It’s easy for our mind, body, and soul (or heart) to fall out of sync. When one part feels off, the others often follow. True wellness happens when we intentionally realign these three parts of ourselves: creating space for clarity, energy, and peace.
  • Mind: Our thoughts shape our reality. Try setting aside a few minutes each day for mindfulness or journaling. Check in with your thoughts: Are they helping or hindering you? Reframing negative thinking can open the door to self-compassion and calm.
  • Body: Movement isn’t just about fitness; it’s a form of gratitude for your body. Whether it’s yoga, stretching, dancing, or walking across campus, move in a way that feels good and restorative. Nourish your body with rest, hydration, and whole foods that sustain you.
  • Soul/Heart: The soul craves connection and purpose. Take time to engage in things that fill you up: music, art, time in nature, or conversations with people who inspire you. Reflect on what brings you peace and align your actions with your values.
✨ Try This:
Take five deep breaths, close your eyes, and place your hand over your heart. Ask yourself: What do I need today: mentally, physically, and emotionally? Let your answer guide how you move through the day.
THRIVE, knowing your Mind, Body, and Soul are in Harmony.
