“I Never Knew One Course Could Change My Entire Future”

Meet Ash Lee Hicks, Class of 2023.

The first assignment in her Post University Master’s Degree course inspired Ash Lee – a practicing nurse with over a decade of experience – to tackle a big community health issue. Now, she is impacting lives across her area, heading toward her ultimate career goal of teaching the nurses of tomorrow, and showing her four children how education is the tool to overcome anything.

Check out Ash Lee’s story, and be on the lookout for more student support stories.

CRJ and EMH Virtual Blood Drive

World AIDS Day – December 1, 2022

Rock the Ribbon

Started in 1988, World AIDS Day is recognized on December 1 every year as an “opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV, to show support for people living with HIV, and to commemorate those who have died from an AIDS-related illness.”  It is the first global health day to be recognized.

Supported by the National AIDS Trust, World AIDS Day is important because it reminds us that, despite advances in medicine and technology, HIV has not gone away.  World AIDS Day supports the vital need to raise money, increase awareness, fight prejudice, and improve education for what is described as “one of the most destructive pandemics in history.”

Join the Post community in recognizing this important day.  #RockTheRibbon and show your support by attending our event in Leever on Thursday, December 1, 2022 between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
