WATERBURY, Conn. (September 25, 2025) – Post University is proud to announce its inaugural “Empowering Voices: Global Women’s Leadership Summit,” a virtual event taking place October 22–24, 2025, designed to connect women at the forefront of leadership from around the world to share bold voices, global stories, and real conversations. The three-day summit will feature engaging keynotes, interactive sessions, and networking opportunities, providing attendees with a platform to explore the evolving dynamics of women in leadership.
Keynote speaker Dr. Sonya Anderson, executive vice president of the International Network at United Way Worldwide, will open the summit with a discussion on global perspectives in gender equality. The event will also feature distinguished leaders including Kathy Taylor, president and CEO of the Connecticut Community Foundation; Swati Karad Chate, trustee and secretary general of MAEER’s MIT Group of Institutions; Dr. Jodi Blinco, founder of The U School and Zenleader; Elizabeth Lenz of Corning Optical Communications; and Dr. Stephanie Kisgen, CEO of SIBE and AME ECH.
“This summit reflects Post University’s dedication to empowering women,” said Alisa L. Hunt, Ph.D., one of the event organizers. “With 72% of our online student populations identifying as female, events like this advance our mission to foster leadership, professional growth and meaningful connection. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with global changemakers and be inspired to make an impact.
The summit will feature a variety of sessions, including panels on entrepreneurship, workshops on personal branding and communication, breakouts on STEM leadership, sustainability, mentorship, and work/life balance, as well as networking sessions to engage directly with global participants. Attendees who participate in the full summit will receive a Leadership Summit Certificate, Continuing Education Units (CEUs), and a digital badge.
