“Coaching for Parents” session brings leadership, athletics, and education together on Post’s campus
Waterbury, Conn. — February 2, 2026 — Post University will host a featured event from the Connecticut Sun’s newly announced speaker series, From the Court to the C-Suite, welcoming Sun President Jennifer Rizzotti to campus for a special session titled “Coaching for Parents: A Huddle for Those Raising Scholar Athletes.”
As an active partner of the WNBA ‘s Connecticut Sun for the past four years, Post University continues its commitment to expanding educational opportunities, supporting student success, and fostering meaningful engagement at the intersection of athletics, academics, and professional growth.
The event will take place on April 7, 2026, at the Drubner Athletic Center on Post University’s campus, and is designed for parents, educators, and community members navigating the increasingly complex world of youth sports.
Drawing on her experience as a collegiate recruiter, AAU coach, and parent of athletes, Rizzotti will offer practical insights into the AAU landscape, strategies for supporting both athletic and academic achievement, and guidance on fostering balance, resilience, and long-term success for student-athletes.
