WATERBURY, CT – (April 1, 2021) – Carey Cseszko has been appointed Controller at Post University. In her new role, Cseszko will lead the University’s daily accounting operations, help guide Post’s strategic financial decisions and oversee the accounting, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable departments.

“Carey is a remarkable financial leader known for her business acumen and focus on strategic decision-making,” said Post University Chief Financial Officer Dan Streek. “We know her guidance will help fuel our vision and growth for years to come.”

headshot of careyPrior to joining Post University, Cseszko served as the corporate controller for American Higher Education Development Corporation where she streamlined processes, improved financial performance and championed the development of new business plans for each service line. With nearly 20 years of experience in finance for higher education, she has worked with the Indiana Commission for Higher Education, Salem Education, Kaplan Higher Education, and Georgia State University, among others.

She earned a Master of Business Administration from Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA; a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Western Governors University in Indianapolis, IN, and a Bachelor of Arts in International Politics, French Language and Civilization from Pennsylvania State University in University Park, PA. She is an active member of the Institute of Management Accountants, the Indiana Chapter of the Financial Executives International, FP&A Trends group, and a former member of the Accounting and Financial Women’s Alliance.
