WATERBURY, CONN. (March 24, 2022) – Post University is pleased to announce that its students Jenna Abeyta, Jaeonna Sutton, Annunciata De-Souza, and Jazmin Andrews have been selected as the 2021 and 2022 recipients of the Business Women Forum (BWF) Jaci Carroll Scholarship. This annual scholarship is awarded to women that have demonstrated academic excellence while pursuing a degree at Post University’s Malcolm Baldrige School of Business.

The recipients will each be awarded a $3,000 scholarship at the BWF’s 39th annual leadership conference, taking place March 24.

“It is an honor to be part of this program and the work that the Business Women’s Forum is doing to attract the next generation of women leaders,” said Christina Billings, Associate Director of Career Services at Post University. “The foundation of success is knowledge. These scholarships will help our students focus on their talent and their education. I am deeply encouraged by the dedication the young women have shown so far. They will no doubt become powerful leaders.”

2021 Recipients

Jenna Abeyta (Aurora, Colo.) – Double Major, Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Sport Management
Jaeonna Sutton (Jamaica, N.Y.) – Bachelor of Science in Business Administration

2022 Recipients

Jazmin Andrews (Richmond Hills, N.Y.) – Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Notably, Ms. Andrews was also a 2020 Jaci Carroll Scholarship recipient.
Annunciata De-Souza (London, United Kingdom) – Bachelor of Science in Marketing

For nearly 40 years, BWF has supported female students at Post University pursuing a degree in business and awarded more than $300,000 to deserving women. A program of the Greater Waterbury Chamber of Commerce Foundation, the Business Women’s Forum has proudly supported local students in their business studies since its inception in 1982.
