Waterbury, Conn – February 3, 2023 – Post University will present two complimentary “FASFA Completion Workshops,” this month to assist students in applying for financial aid.  The sessions will take place at its campus on 800 Country Club Drive in Waterbury.

The campus will host FASFA on Thursday, Feb. 9 and Wednesday, Feb 22 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Each program will be held in Hess Hall, room 109 on 800 Country Club Road in Waterbury.

“Finances should not be a barrier to attending college,” said Post University Financial Aid Director Christopher Fusco. “The event will provide students with assistance in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which is the first and most important step in applying for financial aid.” Walk-ins are welcome.

Potential students, even those intending to enroll in Post University or another college during the 2023-24 academic year are encouraged to complete the form as soon as possible.

During the event, potential students and their parents or guardians can participate in the step-by-step instructions for completing and submitting the FAFSA. Computers will be provided.

To complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, students/parents will need to bring the following:

  • Social Security number for students and parents

  • Alien registration number (if not a U.S. citizen)
  • Most recent federal income tax returns, W-2s, and other records of money earned.
