WATERBURY, Conn. – (February 21, 2023)Post University continues to earn a top ranking by VIQTORY’s Military Friendly® School designation list earning “Top Ten” status for 2022-2023, in the “Non-Traditional Institution” category. For seven consecutive years, Post University has been recognized for continuously providing the military community with an exceptional educational experience, supporting veterans and their families achieve their continuing education goals.

“Receiving the ‘Top Ten’ designation is an honor for Post University as we continue to serve our military, veterans, and their family members,” said Post University Provost Elizabeth Johnson, Ph.D. “Since 1976, we’ve had the privilege of providing those who have served our nation with a robust, veteran-focused support system to ensure their success as a student.”

With the designated Post® Eagle Program for veteran education, the University provides specialized academic counselors – many with military experience – to help military students. Through the program, military students and their families have access to financial aid counseling, dedicated advisors, and career services.

Institutions earning the Military Friendly® School designation were evaluated using both public data sources and survey information universities submitted. More than 1,800 schools participated in the 2022-23 survey, and 665 schools earned a designation as gold, silver or bronze. Methodology, criteria, and weightings were determined by VIQTORY with input from the Military Friendly® Advisory Council of independent leaders in higher education. Final ratings were determined by combining the institution’s survey responses and government/agency public data sources within a logic-based assessment.
