Announcement includes significant tuition adjustment for new and returning main campus students.

WATERBURY, CT – (July 10, 2020) –Post University has announced that its 2020 fall academic programs will be moved online and that all main campus students will learn remotely through its state-of-the-art online learning platform. In a bold move, the university will extend up to 60 percent in tuition reductions, students can take as many courses as they want for the flat rate tuition and waive all fees to all new and returning main campus students.

While the pandemic forced schools across the globe to experiment with online learning, Post is leaning into its decades of vast expertise to provide its on-campus students with a seamless continuation of remote course delivery. The University’s campus has been virtual since March 16, when all in-person courses transitioned to a remote delivery in four days.

According to CEO and President John L. Hopkins, the decision afforded Post the best option for an exceptional and undisrupted learning experience, while ensuring the health and safety of its students and faculty.

“Unlike many schools, our successes in remote education meant we were able to seamlessly transition our main campus courses into a virtual learning environment without sacrificing the exceptional experience regardless of modality,” said Post University CEO & President John L. Hopkins. “We know our students have high expectations for their education, but their worries over the past four months weighed heavily on our decision-making process. We set aside any financial considerations and prioritized the safety of our learning community.”

The decision brings with it a substantial rate reduction for the fall 2020 semester. Tuition for all main campus undergraduate students is now $5,700. The price adjustment reflects a 60 percent discount. Fall 2020 graduate tuition will be reduced to $2,050 per course.

Using a virtual campus model, Post provides all academic and support services found on the campus through the Student Portal and the Post University app. Post will continue to provide students remote access to health services, career services through its Center for Career and Professional Development, online wellness via You@Post, tutoring services via TutorMe and its Center for Academic Success, and 24/7 counseling, financial resources, legal support, and personal convenience through its new Student Online Assistance Resource (SOAR).
