Why do you think it is important for females to be represented in your respective field or in education?
Interesting question…In the field of HR woman make up the majority. I think it is really important that we have diversity, including more males in the field. Men and woman view the workplace differently. It’s important that we view the changing world of HR from all perspectives.
Who was a female role model for you growing up or currently?
In the beginning of my career I worked for a woman owned, HR consulting start up that I grew with for 13 years. I would say Robin I, the owner, is my HR role model. I have worked other places since but always find myself going back to what I learned from her.
Do you have a favorite memory from your time at Post?
I have only been with Post for about 4 months so I am making memories every day. One day I saw the son of one of my closest friends here on campus. It made me so proud to be contributing to education, in some aspect, in my own community.
