Campus Hazing Transparency Report
Post University adheres to both the federal Stop Campus Hazing Act and the Connecticut General Statutes § 53-23a by establishing procedures for reporting and disclosing hazing incidents. These complementary pieces of legislation at both the federal and state levels underscore a commitment to transparency, prevention, and student safety in our campus community.
Reporting Hazing
Post University asks all students and employees who witness, learn of, or hear about hazing to contact Campus Security or the Office of Campus Life and report what happened and where it happened; you may identify the victim or keep the victim’s identity confidential at their request.
If you think you have observed concerning behavior that may constitute hazing, please report it immediately.
If the victim is injured or unconscious, call 911.

Enforcement
Post University will investigate all hazing allegations promptly. Violations of University policy will be addressed through the University’s established student conduct review process and may be reported to law enforcement.
A student organization that is determined to have violated the University hazing policy (1) shall lose any Student Government Association funding for the year and (2) will be placed on probation for one year.
A student who is determined to have violated the University hazing policy will be subject to disciplinary action under University policy, including the University’s Code of Conduct. Further, the University may coordinate with local law enforcement when behavior appears to violate state or federal hazing laws.
