Students in the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree program gain knowledge in the basic business disciplines of accounting, economics, management, finance, marketing and business law. Students will develop necessary skills in communication through a required business-writing course. The importance of communicating clearly across all areas of business is repeatedly emphasized through writing and presentation requirements in all courses. Through career-focused coursework, students will develop vital decision-making processes, explore ethical issues in business, and examine the details of business operations. Their study culminates in a capstone, where students will apply their skills in a business simulation.
Graduates can pursue employment in the areas of administrative and operations management in corporate settings, retail and consumer products businesses, or manufacturing firms.
This degree program is nationally accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).
