Associate Faculty – Master of Science in Higher Education Administration Program

Post University is currently accepting applications for the role of Associate Faculty for the Master of Science in Higher Education Administration Program in the John P. Burke School of Public Service and Education.

JOB SUMMARY:
Post University is looking to establish a pool of experienced professionals to fill part-time teaching positions in higher education.  The John P. Burke School of Public Service and Education is looking for Associate Faculty to teach online courses for graduate students in the Master of Science in Higher Education Administration Program. Associate Faculty support the university’s mission of providing strong foundational educational experiences within a student’s career focused program.

We are looking for individuals who can teach the following courses:

  • HEA505: Foundations & Emerging Trends in Higher Education

  • HEA515: Assessment and Evaluation

  • HEA520: Leading Change in Higher Education

  • HEA641: Student Services in Higher Education

  • HEA646: College Student Development & Leadership

  • HEA648: College Student Personnel Administration

  • HEA649: Legal Practices & Ethics in Student Affairs

  • HEA645: Administration and Leadership of Higher Education

  • HEA647: Higher Education Policy, Politics and Pressing Issues

  • HEA671: Higher Education Organization & Governance

  • HEA673: Faculty in Higher Education: Ever Evolving Roles

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Terminal degree in Education/Higher Education Administration or related field (i.e. PhD, EdD) required.

  • 5-10 years of progressive leadership experience higher education.

  • Substantive college teaching experience (over two years), preferably online.

  • Experience using Blackboard.

  • Desire to experience online, 21st century models of teaching and learning.

  • Experience in online course development, a plus.
