Post University Blog

January 5, 2022

Hello Eagles,

Happy New Year!  As a follow up to our earlier communication from December 21, 2021, Post University continues to take proactive actions to protect the health and safety of our community to ensure another successful semester on campus.  This is a reminder that COVID-19 testing for all students is required prior to arrival for the spring semester, and that Post University’s new definition of “fully vaccinated” includes the booster shot for all eligible students and associates.  In addition, masks will be required for the spring semester in all university classrooms and buildings except when eating/drinking or in the privacy of your residence hall room.

COVID-19 Testing for All Students Prior to Arrival

All students are required to document a negative polymerase chain reaction (PCRtest

within 72 hours of returning to campus.

  • Graduate MBA Main Campus classes begin on January 10, 2022.
  • Undergraduate Main Campus classes begin on January 18, 2022.
  • Please upload your negative test results via the Post Mobile App, under the tile “Upload Your COVID Test Results.”
    • Resident students should upload before moving into a residence hall.
      • New student move-in begins at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 15, 2022. If you’ve not done so already, please sign up for registration for orientation at  post.edu/orientation
      • Returning students move-in begins at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 16, 2022
    • Commuter students please upload your test results the day before your first class.
  • Any student who tests positive for COVID-19 and lives within 100 miles of the University will be required to isolate away from campus for ten days and attend classes virtually.
  • Isolation space is available through Post University for the mandatory ten-day isolation period for students living further than 100 miles from campus.

Please note:  Testing of students will continue throughout the semester.  More information will be provided once dates and details are finalized.

COVID-19 Booster Shots to become Fully Vaccinated

The COVID-19 booster dose is required for all eligible students and associates. An individual is eligible for the booster five months after completing the primary COVID-19 vaccination series with Moderna and Pfizer vaccines and two months after receiving the Johnson and Johnson vaccine. Available booster vaccination sites can be found by visiting vaccines.gov.

Documentation of the COVID-19 booster must be emailed to the University’s Heath Services ([email protected]) by Monday, January 31, 2022. Individuals not yet eligible for the booster will upload documentation within fourteen (14) days of reaching eligibility. All documentation will be kept confidential.

Please note: We encourage students to get a booster shot before returning to campus, if possible. In addition, Post University will host booster clinics on campus in late January and February for students and associates.  More information will be provided once dates and details are finalized.

The University is implementing these measures to help maintain an in-person academic and community student experience.  We developed our plan in consultation with the state health department and the guidance of public health experts.

We look forward to seeing you soon.

Best regards,
