Waterbury, CT (September 17, 2020) – Post University has entered into a memorandum of understanding with Bristol Community College in Fall River, Massachusetts. The articulation agreement between the two institutions will allow students completing associate degrees at Bristol Community College to seamlessly continue their education at Post University.
The new articulation agreement will promote expanded access for students who earn an Associate of Science degree in designated programs to pursue a bachelor’s degree at Post by:
- Providing a tuition reduction or transfer scholarship to all students transferring to Post through the agreement, depending on whether they enroll in an online program or take classes on campus,
- Guaranteeing acceptance into Post University for individual students in good standing as stated on the transcript, and who complete the coursework required to earn one of the articulated associate degrees included in the agreement, and
- Waiving the College Success Seminar for transfer students provided the students have earned associate’s degrees from Bristol Community College within the last five years.
“This articulation agreement is valuable in that it expands options for out-of-state students looking to further their education at Post,” said Post University President & CEO John L. Hopkins. “We are thrilled to have partnered with Bristol Community College and look forward to welcoming new students from Massachusetts in the coming years.”
The agreement applies to transfer students who have obtained their degrees in business administration or criminal justice at Bristol Community College. Business administration transfer students may pursue a Bachelor of Science in accounting, finance, human resource management, management, marketing, and sports management. Criminal justice graduates can pursue a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice.
Post University currently accepts credits from several institutions within Connecticut, Rhode Island, Georgia and Washington. Earlier this month, Post reaffirmed its articulation agreement with Bridgeport, CT-based Housatonic Community College for its criminal justice program.
