Mark Jennings, MBA
Mark Jennings is the Managing Partner and co-founder of Generation Partners, and a Post University Trustee.
Mr. Jennings has been an active private equity investor for 23 years and is responsible for the strategic direction, capital commitments and management of the firm. Prior to founding Generation in 1995, Mr. Jennings was a General Partner at Centre Partners, a private investment firm affiliated with Lazard Frères & Co. Mr. Jennings began his career at Goldman Sachs & Co. where he advised companies in the areas of financial strategy, public offerings, mergers & acquisitions and leveraged buyouts.
Mr. Jennings has served on the board of directors of 23 companies and currently serves on the boards of Virtual Radiologic Corporation (VRAD), inVentiv Health (VTIV), MedVance Institute, Agility Recovery Solutions, Sterling Infosystems, and Six Flags (SIX). In addition, Mr. Jennings also serves on the Health Policy & Management Executive Council of the Harvard School of Public Health.
Mr. Jennings earned his MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business in 1986 and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with Highest Honors from the The University of Texas at Austin in 1984, where Mr. Jennings graduated second in his class and received the University's Rhodes Scholarship nomination.
