Congratulations to Associate Professor, Dr. Patrice Farquharson, on Celebrating 25 Years at Post!
Dr. Farquharson, who began at the University in 1996 as Assistant Professor and Director of Early Childhood Education, just celebrated her 25th anniversary! Some of Dr. Farquharson’s most notable accomplishments over the last two and a half decades include developing the first online Early Childhood Education course in 1999, creating the bachelor’s degree in Child Studies for both online and on-campus students, and advising, mentoring, and teaching hundreds of future early childhood educators. “I love to teach. It is important for me to share what I know with others. I just got a note from one of my first online students at Post congratulating me on my anniversary here. It is wonderful to see the students be successful in their careers especially in the early childhood field,” Farquharson shares. Read more about Dr. Farquharson on our recent Instagram post!
