For the Next Three Years, Soldiers Can Attain Degree While Serving

Waterbury, CT (November 10, 2021) – Post University has announced the renewal of its articulation agreement with the U.S. Army Recruiting and Retention College (RRC) in Fort Knox, Kentucky. The signed memorandum provides enlisted and commissioned personnel attending the Recruiting and Retention College with a seamless transition process for the continuation of degree programs.

Since 1976, Post University has provided educational benefits to military personnel through a variety of flexible and convenient degree options specifically designed for active-duty military, veterans, and their eligible family members. Its support to Army, Army National Guard, and Army Reserve Recruiters began in 2010 and continues with through the articulation agreement with RCC has been an integral part of the University’s program since 2010 as an essential part of the Post Eagle Program.

“The RCC has a reputation for being a leader in the training and development of Army Recruiters. We are honored to provide continuing support to Army Recruiters seeking to further their education and enhance their military career through this articulation agreement,” said Edmund J. Lizotte, director of military enrollment, retired Lieutenant Colonel and former recruiting battalion commander.

The (RRC) articulation program is designed to offer service members academic credit for their military education and experience, which can be applied to the following degree programs:

  • Certificate in Human Resource Management
  • Associate of Science in management
  • Bachelor of Science in business administration
  • Bachelor of Science in management
  • Bachelor of Science in human resource management
  • Bachelor of Science in sports management

To obtain a degree, participating military and veteran students must complete all general education courses, elective courses, and core courses required for completion.

Post University is approved by all military branches for tuition assistance found to be in full compliance with the Department of Defense of Voluntary Educational Program and the Department of Veterans Affairs for the use of all Veteran Educational benefits.
