WATERBURY, CT (May 05, 2021) — Post University was ranked sixth on Military Spouse Friendly® School. The designation follows the University’s previous recognition as a Military Friendly® School, securing a place on the “Top Ten List” for 2021-2022.
Over 1,200 schools participated in the 2021-2022 survey, with 747 schools earning the designation as a Military Friendly School, of which 194 were selected for the Military Spouse Friendly Schools list. Post University was selected because of its leading practices, outcomes, and effective programs for military Spouses.
The university far exceeded the thresholds on all metrics reviewed, earning a sixth-place ranking.
“Post University understands the unique needs of military loved ones and we work to provide flexible learning options that fit their lifestyle,” said Post University Director of Military Field Enrollment and former Army National Guard Lieutenant Colonel Edmund Lizotte. “We are humbled to be recognized on both the Military Friendly and Military Spouse Friendly rankings for our work supporting the brave men and women who serve our country.”
Methodology, criteria, and weightings were determined by Viqtory with input from the Military Friendly® Advisory Council of independent leaders in the higher education and military recruitment community. Final ratings were determined by combining the institution’s survey response set and government/agency public data sources within a logic-based scoring assessment. We measure the institution’s ability to meet thresholds for Student Retention, Graduation, Job Placement, Loan Repayment, Persistence (Degree Advancement or Transfer), and Loan Default rates for all students and, specifically, for student veterans.
